There are definitely signs that the world of digital and online services is starting to spread into the executive search industry, albeit slowly. Susie Cummings, Founder & CEO of startup Nurole, tells us all about her new business model and how it has already had significant success with helping clients hire board members in the UK. However, this is not the ‘uber-ization’ of search - it is still the regular, high-touch executive search model, but instead utilizes a technology platform to eradicate inefficiencies and reach a much broader audience.

Thanks to an introduction by Michael Christopher of member Blackrock, we are joined by Jennifer Gefsky, Co-founder of new startup Après (www.apresgroup.com). The company is dedicated to empowering the more than 3 million professional women who chose to temporarily focus on personal responsibilities and/or other priorities, but who are now ready to return to the workforce. In return for joining the digital platform, organizations gain access to a pool of committed, diverse talent, 55% of whom have graduate degrees.

Lauren joins us to discuss her new book, ‘The Thinnest Line’, which looks at why and how American diversity is its best and most under-leveraged asset.
