10:45 am Roundtable Discussion: Early ESIX Benchmark Study Results
We will cover some highlights from the 2017 Annual Benchmark Survey, discuss some of the findings, and use it as a baseline to explore what we might do differently as a function moving forward.
12:00 pm The Case for Competencies
The integration of the executive recruiting function with talent management, leadership development, and succession planning is one of the top five priorities for our members. How do we achieve this? By communicating and collaborating across the various pillars of the HR function. Member Enrique Washington is the leader of the executive recruiting function at Electronic Arts, and also happens to be an expert in the development and use of competency models– so much so, he has published a book on the subject! Enrique will lead us in a conversation on how competencies can provide a common language for all the facets of talent management.
1:00 pm Adjourn for Lunch and Tour of Nike Campus
Hotels: Lance recommends we stay in downtown Portland, and though there are no special ESIX rates, most of the major brands have representation, plus there are also local favorites Hotel Monaco and Hotel Lucia.
