Nike has had a senior ‘Talent Scout’ function for a number of years, and function leader Lance Abisror is now developing ‘Nike Executive Recruiting 2.0’. Lance will describe Nike’s function and its plans for future, and lead us in a discussion of what ‘next generation’ corporate executive recruiting might look like.

10:45 am Roundtable Discussion: Early ESIX Benchmark Study Results
We will cover some highlights from the 2017 Annual Benchmark Survey, discuss some of the findings, and use it as a baseline to explore what we might do differently as a function moving forward.
12:00 pm Competencies in Executive Recruiting
The integration of the executive recruiting function with talent management, leadership development, and succession planning is one of the top five priorities for our members. How do we achieve this? By communicating and collaborating across the various pillars of the HR function. Member Enrique Washington is the leader of the executive recruiting function at Electronic Arts, and also happens to be an expert in the development and use of competency models– so much so, he has published a book on the subject! Enrique will lead us in a conversation on how competencies can be applied in executive recruiting to drive alignment on executive assessment, helping inform a better quality of hire.
