Sital Ruparelia, and Keith Ong, both Asia Pacific leaders of Microsoft’s Global Executive Talent Acquisition team, will share highlights of Microsoft’s transformation towards a ‘growth mindset’, and the important role of the executive recruiting function in attaining this aspiration across the globe.

1:30 pm Grab: Driving the Diversity Agenda at High Speed
In only 5 years, Grab has grown to be a significant player in the South East Asian economy, and we learn from Michael Wright, the company’s Head of Talent Acquisition, as to how the company has managed to recruit all the talent to achieve such astounding growth. Perhaps more importantly, however, we will learn how the company managed to keep diversity at the top of the agenda through it all, with half of their management team being female.

Recruiting diverse talent at the executive level is again the highest priority for corporate executive recruiting leaders in this year’s Benchmark Survey, yet results appear to be mixed so far. As a group, we will discuss what is, and what is not, working in the Asia Pacific region when attempting to hire diverse executives.
