McKesson – Charting a Course for the Executive Recruiting Function
McKesson is a US ‘Fortune 5’ company, and it is California’s second largest company in terms of revenues, but ironically it does not have a very high profile. Yet it is a company which most people in the US have likely interacted with at some point in their lives, thanks to its near-ubiquitous product coverage in hospitals, healthcare systems, pharmacies, and so on. How does one keep such an enormous ship moving forwards, while improving the ‘talent engines’ as you go? Vice President, Executive Talent, Ximena Juncosa will share with us her function’s model, as well as her plans for what corporate executive recruiting will look like in the future at McKesson.

1:00 pm Talentsky – A Solution for the ‘Skills Gap’?
Talentsky is a startup which focuses on the skills of the employee, as well as where they need development, and connects candidates to employers through its network, which it feels is more fair and transparent. The Founder and CEO is long time executive recruiter Rick Devine, who has a history both in large search firms as well as corporate recruiting roles. Rick will join us to share with us the premise behind Talentsky, the idea behind a ‘universal skills language’, and why it is different from the other social networks currently out there.
