10:15 am        Best-in-Class Onboarding Practices

Although this is always a topic of interest, onboarding has come up a lot more recently in member questions. In our recent mini-poll on the topic we find that there is a lot of disparity in how organizations address it at the executive level – if at all. In response, we have asked a published expert in the space, George Bradt, Chairman & Founder of PrimeGenesis¸ to share what he has learned over his years of experience advising executives and HR functions on their executive onboarding programs.

2:30 pm          When Your Company Takes A Controversial Stand

In a recent survey, 62% said they would not work for a company if they disagreed with their stated beliefs. Furthermore, it is said that it is not enough for a company to just have great products and services, as employees (and presumably, candidates) want organizations to communicate clearly about what is important to them. How, as message-owners and ambassadors for the organization, should we handle this at the executive level? Cher Murphy, Chief Talent Officer of the Institute for Corporate Productivity will share with us her organization’s research and findings and help us discuss the topic.
