2:00 pm Is Blockchain the Future of Recruiting?
New technologies and tools are one of our members’ priority topics this year. There is so much noise about how new technologies will impact the recruiting function, though as yet we have seen little impact on the executive-level arena. However, one of these ‘hot technologies’, Blockchain, does seem to be one that we could actually use to save time on due diligence and ensure resume accuracy and integrity, especially given the level of risk and visibility that our level of hiring involves. Gary McKay, Co-Founder and Managing Director of APPII is both an expert in the space and has founded a company which is setting a path for blockchain in recruitment, and will help us understand how this technology will impact us in the near future.
