9:15 am          Arrival, Coffee/Continental Breakfast

10:00 am        Meeting begins/Introductions

10:15 am        The CEO Next Door

ghSMART’s ‘CEO Genome’ project is based on a 10-year research study into what differentiates successful CEOs – and we might find the answers surprising. ghSMART Principal, Jennifer Sturman, will join us to unpack perception versus reality when it comes to what gets CEO’s hired, compared to the four critical behaviors that actually help them succeed. Along the way, she will also overturn the myths about what it takes for our leaders to get to the top (and stay there).

11:15 am                    Break

11:30 am        2019 ESIX Annual Benchmark Survey – Highlights & Roundtable

We will touch on some highlights from this year’s Annual Benchmark Survey, discuss any surprises, and use it as a baseline for our roundtable to explore what we might do differently as a function moving forward.

2:00 pm          Diversity Case Study & Roundtable Discussion: American Express I&D Partnership

We are lucky enough to be joined by Seema Brin, VP of Global Executive Recruitment at American Express, who along with her colleague Mikeisha Anderson Jones, VP of Global Diverse Executive Engagement, will share with us a case study on their partnership and lead us in a Diversity roundtable discussion. They will describe how they discovered a diversity gap in the organization and the experiences and lessons learned as they created a plan to proactively solve it, as well as their ongoing plans to make a difference to the company’s leadership. This will precede a general roundtable discussion on executive-level diversity hiring innovations.

3:15 pm          Networking Reception

Celebrate the end of the first half of 2019!
