9:30 am          Arrival, Coffee/Continental Breakfast

10:00 am        Meeting begins: Participant Introductions

Member Overview: American Express

Even though American Express was one of the original ESIX members in 1996, it certainly is not the company it was back then, and the function has constantly innovated over the last 20+ years. We are joined from the USA by Daniel Kelley, who is Vice President of both Global Executive and US Campus Recruitment. Daniel will share with us his journey from running the executive recruiting function, to picking up university recruiting along the way, and his lessons learned in managing the two realms.

11:30 am        Break

12:00 pm        Roundtable Discussion: Participant-chosen topic

2:00 pm          Which Online Executive Recruiting Platform is Going to Win?

Variations of executive-focussed, invitation-only online platforms have been around for a few years now, but they seem to be popping up with more frequency in a variety of different flavours recently. Duncan McKay, Research Director of Winter Circle, will be joined by their customer, Steve Hunt, formerly of Coupang and now at Citi, to explain the methodology and science behind the platform: ‘Designed by search professionals for internal search professionals’, which purportedly creates ‘longlists in minutes, not weeks’.
