Executive Recruiting at The Coca-Cola Company
One of the world’s most iconic brands, The Coca-Cola Company operates in many different countries and is recognized everywhere. Which also means they have executives all over the world – and therefore searches to complete in some interesting locations. The company’s Global Director of Executive Talent Acquisition, John Goldberg, essentially built the function from the foundation up. John will share with us his experiences, lessons learned in building a global function, and his plans for the next generation of leadership search at the organization.

12:15 pm A New Research Platform – Tracking the Flow of Talent: Lead5
Lead5 is a recruiting research platform currently focused on candidates, enabling them to find new roles by tracking information about openings at thousands of companies. However, the company aspires to be a research platform for corporate executive recruiting departments, and Josh Wimberley, CEO and Founder (himself an ex-CFO practice leader at Korn Ferry), will join us to clarify the model and discuss how we might use it to track our top prospects through their careers.

3:00 pm Finally, A Useful Measure of Talent Value?
Many say that a large part of the challenge of assessing leadership, and therefore the value of any company’s talent, is that there is no single, unilaterally-agreed way of measuring leadership value. Linda Brenner and Tom McGuire of Talent Growth Advisors, both veteran HR practitioners in their own right, not only believe they have the solution, but they have written a book on the subject! They will share with us their analysis and views of the specific connections between talent and the market value of companies.
4:00 pm Adjourn for a Tour of the ‘World of Coca-Cola Experience’ (90 minutes), then networking social hour.
