Executive recruiting function leader, Julia Dupps, of Amgen, will share with us her experiences and learnings so far from the point of view of building the function over the past two years. She will also lead us into a discussion about moving such functions to the next level as we study ways of evaluating success, including quality of hire measures, as well as really understanding the business impact of the function.

2:00 pm Leadership Assessment Tools 101
According to our Annual Benchmark Survey, 64% of respondents are using external assessment tools in their executive hiring processes, a number which has grown progressively over the past six years. At the same time, there seems to be an ever-growing plethora of products and methodologies to choose from, some of which are using advanced technology like AI, and many of which are quite expensive. How should we compare all these tools, and how do we decide which method and style is right for our organization to use? Consultant Russ Allison, ex Director of Talent Assessment at Hewlett Packard, and ex-PDI (now part of Korn Ferry), who also calls a number of ESIX members his clients, will give us an overview of the space and help us navigate the ecosystem of assessment tools.
