We will be joined by Charlie Atkinson, the CEO of HFI, a talent management firm which helps organizations select and develop talent. Though known as an expert in assessment, Charlie will actually be sharing a new app with us that the HFI Tech Labs have produced. This tool purports to manage the pre-interview scheduling and setup process, the interview itself, and the feedback mechanism during and after the interview, all in one app on the hiring manager’s mobile phone – magic!

The need for intersectional leaders is greater than ever, yet the majority of business executives don’t know what the term means. We will be joined by Trish Foster, Senior Director in the Center for Women & Business at Bentley University, and she will guide us in an interactive session that explores how everyone’s multiple identities – gender, race, class, sexual orientation, religion, ability and more – impact their workplace experience and why embracing the concept of intersectionality is key to hiring the diverse leaders we need, and to creating an inclusive workplace.
