Our host and the company’s Global Head of Executive Recruitment, Bertrand Kimper, will share with us the developments he has made to the function at Johnson & Johnson since taking over the group a year ago, as well as his plans for the future of the team.

It is often a challenge to hire great corporate executive recruiters. In our 2017 Annual Benchmark Survey we asked what leaders look for in hiring their corporate executive recruiting teams: the list was long, which might explain some of the hiring challenges! In this segment, participants will share ideas on how they recruit their team members, as well as how they ensure that their team members are not just on-boarded, but continually growing and learning post-hire.

1:00 pm          Bialla: Using Board Roles as a Leadership Development Tool

Recently, we have heard of instances of companies actively seeking external board director roles for their senior leaders, as part of their leadership development programs. As external recruiters are involved, then our internal corporate functions are also often involved – another area of integration of executive recruiting and talent management and development. Matt Huffman and Jeff Hodge of Bialla Partners, will share with us their leadership development tool which uses a predictive matching technology to identify public board roles for succession-level talent.
